P. 4
Dear Readers,
“One thing about us wise guys? The hustle never ends.”
I typically don’t draw parallels between The Sopranos and multi-family property
management, but the words Tony once spoke during a not so pleasant exchange with a
former business associate always resonated with me.
Even during the summer, when the ice isn’t doing everything in its power to break through
our roofs, and no one would notice if their furnace stopped working, and you don’t have
to worry about waking up to a parking lot that’s buried beneath several feet of snow, and
potential tenants don’t have to risk severe frostbite in order to tour properties, the hustle
never ends. For summer is the era of intensive landscaping, roofing and marketing –
which, not coincidentally, happen to be three of the featured topics in this issue of Multi-
Family Vendor Guide.
First on deck we have Windsor Companies. They are Minnesota’s only Native American
owned landscaping design, installation and maintenance provider, and if you have
ever been to U.S. Bank Stadium you have most likely already admired their work. But
their focus isn’t limited to landscaping which is regularly televised. If your multi-family
community is surrounded by land – and I highly suspect it is – Windsor Companies is the
only solution you need to keep said land immaculate.
Next we have Les Jones Roofing. They are an institution in the Twin Cities, which will tend
to all your roofing needs whether you live in our area’s smallest house or manage its
largest apartment building. Les himself believes that superlative customer service is the
key to his success, and nearly half a century in business certainly backs up his claim.
Finally we have Next Door Photos, which makes securing the professional photography
you need to effectively market your property as straightforward as ordering a large pizza.
Summoning one of their shutterbugs to a unit takes about a minute, and within 24 hours
you’ll have your complete set of expertly touched-up photos. In an age when most people
can’t be bothered to read a complete sentence, Next Door Photos’ work can easily spell
the difference between a quick lease-up and a protracted vacancy.
Multi-Family Vendor Guide has mailed free of charge to decision makers for nearly one
decade now. If you ever hire one of our advertisers, I only ask that you tell them where
you learned of their services. And if you would like to join our clients and witness the
massive boon to business that an appearance in Multi-Family Vendor Guide brings, then
I welcome your call any time at (952) 460-1916. It would also be my pleasure to meet
with you in person to discuss how we can best put this exciting enterprise to work for you!
Yours Truly,
